Easter Egg M&M Cookies
Updated: Mar 22
I love to use M&M's to make my desserts even more festive! These Egg Peanut M&M's are the perfect choice for Easter! My son is an M&M fanatic and is excited when he sees M&Ms in cookies!
The cookies paired amazingly with the Target Dollar Spot Bunny measuring spoons and bunny salt and pepper shaker.

It is very important to use softened butter. If you forgot to leave out the butter a few hours before you start this recipe. A quick trick is, fill a measuring cup up with 2 cups of water, microwave for 3 minutes. Empty the water, place butter on a lunch plate, and put the measuring cup upside down for a few minutes. This will soften your butter :) Viola! You do not want to melt your butter, this will leave you with flat cookies.
Let's get going! Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Let's start by adding the butter and the sugar to your mixer and allow it to cream together for around 5 minutes. Then add eggs, vanilla, and salt. In another bowl combine the remainder of the ingredients leaving out the m&ms and chocolate chips. Add the mixture to your mixer 1/2 cup at a time.
Once all the ingredients are well mixed, time to add the m&ms and chocolate chips!
Now let's roll those cookies! I like to do both sizes, small and large cookies. Just make sure you do one tray of each size. This will make sure all the cookies are cooked correctly.
The smaller cookies will cook between 8-10 minutes, and the larger cookies cooked for up to 17 minutes.
Every oven is different, be sure to look every few minutes to make sure your cookies don't overcook.
Enjoy! I would love to see your Easter Cookies! Tag #Recipes4Mom
