Rosemary Airline Chicken Breast

Airline Chicken Breast is half of the chicken breast with a wing attached.


This main dish goes with anything and is pretty versatile.


What do you need?

4 Arline chicken breasts

1 stick of butter (soften, leave it on the counter for an hour)

3 tablespoons of dried rosemary

1 tablespoon of salt

1 tablespoon of pepper

1/2 lemon juice

1 tablespoon of lemon pepper seasoning

1 tablespoons of garlic powder

1 tablespoon of Mrs. Dash


Start by putting the chicken breasts in a bowl, add all the spices besides the rosemary. Add the rosemary and lemon juice to the butter, mix and add to the bowl. You want to make sure the chicken is well seasoned. Let it sit until the chicken is room temperature. (about twenty minutes)

I prefer to brown the skin of the chicken in a cast iron but you could use a stainless steel pan. I think the cast iron gives it the best sear.


Pre-heat the Oven to 375 degrees.


Pre-heat the Cast Iron Pan for about 10 minutes, to ensure it is hot. (on medium heat)


Dump the contents of your bowl into the pan, arrange the chicken, breast side down. Cook 6-9 minutes on each side.


Once your chicken has a nice golden brown sear, it is time to put the pan in the oven. (This is another reason, why I love cast iron, goes right in the oven)


Place in the oven and cook for about 30-45 minutes until your chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees and the juices run clear.


Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, then enjoy :)
